Evaluation

Figuring out which steps to take requires a clear understanding of where you are, where you want to be, and how you will know when you get there. Rise Research works within and across organizations to evaluate needs and identify gaps between current and desired states. When goals and programs are already defined, we work with our partners to develop and implement an evaluation design that responds to your specific questions and needs.

Learning and Development

Building capacity for community change requires organizations to access and cultivate specialized skills that may not currently exist within the organization. Our organization provides technical assistance, offers training and facilitation, and develops toolkits aimed at helping organizations build capacity for evaluation, research, and policy and systems change. 

Data Collection and Analysis

At Rise Research, we use our skills in data collection and analysis to answer questions about organizational and community problems that are important to you. Our skills in research design help our partners hone questions, while our expertise in qualitative and quantitative methods of data collection and analysis allows us to answer those questions. Depending on the question, we can conduct interviews and focus groups, run surveys, and use statistical techniques on existing data. 

Policy Research and Analysis

No organization – whether a community-based nonprofit or a multinational corporation – operates in a vacuum. Local, state, and national policies strongly shape the systems you operate in, the needs you encounter, the programs you run, and the outcomes you see. Rise Research helps organizations understand, inform, and influence policy by analyzing the content of existing laws and proposed legislation and conducting policy analysis.
