We help our partners use evidence to take action.
At Rise Research, we help innovators, bridge builders, and change makers improve social programs and systems using data and evidence. Our approach builds on three foundational principles, our Rise Research Elements of Practice. These Elements of Practice ensure that all projects are based in strong partnerships with clients, grounded in data and evidence, and deliver actionable findings. It is at this intersection of people, evidence, and action that our partners find lasting answers to their most pressing questions. What does this mean for the work? See below for an overview of the work that we do. |
Take a data walk with Rise! |
We support projects. |
We use our expertise in evaluation and research to help our partners answer their most important questions. We offer the full range of services, including developmental evaluation, process and outcome evaluation, landscape analyses, and case studies, as well as survey design and implementation, collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, literature reviews, and policy analysis. Whether you want to understand a need, improve a program, build out a new tool, or change a system, we'll work with you to design a study that delivers actionable findings for your team.

We teach skills. |
Collecting and analyzing data is part of our DNA - and we love helping our partners build skills for using evidence to inform action. We provide technical assistance, offer training and facilitation, and develop toolkits aimed at helping our partners build capacity to be evidence-informed. Our trainings and organizational supports are engaging, user-friendly, and customized to the problems you want to solve. With support from Rise, you can begin building your own capacity to find answers to better serve your clients and communities.

We share knowledge.
|
Sharing knowledge is key to changing systems and building thriving communities. Yet too often, expertise remains trapped in research, practice, and in communities. At Rise, we are working to combat information silos by publishing insights to inform your work, including tips and insights about timely issues in the social sector (The Rise Record), brief syntheses of topics in these areas (Research Bites), and user-friendly summaries of insights gained in our project work. You can find more information about these resources here.
